HiSur Maleimide Beads Conjugation Kit

Ocean NanoTech’s Maleimide terminated HiSur magnetic beads are now available in an easy-to-use kit format to enable researchers to conjugate antibodies, proteins, peptides or other biomolecules of their own choice to these magnetic beads. Attribute to the narrow size distribution and unique surface coating of the Maleimide HiSur beads as well as the specifically formulated conjugation buffers, the resulting conjugates exhibit high binding capacity and low non-specific binding. Kit contains sufficient reagents & components for performing at least 5 conjugation reactions. Briefly, the maleimide beads are mixed in thiol-containing molecules such as protein, nuleic acid or small molecules in coupling buffer for 2 hours, then quenching buffer will be added to the solution for 30 min to stop the reaction. After magnetic separation to remove unreacted the molecules, the conjugated beads are stored in storage buffer. The recommended protocol has been used to successfully conjugate bovine serum albumin, streptavidin or immunoglobulin to these magnetic beads.
