Current opening - Lab Technician

We are now seeking a full-time Lab Technician to join our team. We offer a package of benefits, including health insurance, dental insurance, retirement plan as well as paid sick days and paid days off.

Main responsibilities include:

• Follow SOP and prepare reagents
• Follow SOP and make new materials
• Follow SOP and carry out laboratory procedures
• Maintain batch records and analyze lot histories
• Maintain and analyze inventory of products
• Maintain inventory of lab supplies and chemicals
• Wash laboratory dishes and clean lab instrument and space
• Help in other laboratory duties as needed

Required experience and skills:

• A Bachelor's or Associate degree in chemistry, biochemistry, material science or related Science
• Ability to learn new techniques and to juggle multiple tasks of varying priorities and function in a dynamic environment
• Proficiency in basic computer data analysis and Microsoft Office, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Ability to communicate clearly, and to report and present experimental results and analysis to supervisor and colleagues
• Ability to organize assignments, work within schedules and deadlines
• Effective interpersonal communication skills, including both written and oral communication skills
• Strong analytical skills, highly attentive to details
