IAG refers to Ocean’s IgG conjugated water soluble iron oxide nanoparticles. The IgG are covalently attached to carboxyl groups on the nanoparticle surface at a minimum IO:IgG ratio of 1:3. The IAGs are stable in dilute (10 mM or less) PBS and Tris buffer, pH 7.4. Other buffers have not been tested.
A wide range of IgGs (fifteen animal hosts with or without enzyme labeling) are available at customers’ choice.
The IAGs can be used to capture the respective antibody in a biological assay. The products of this category are packed with 1 mg/mL BSA and 0.02% NaN3 (unless customer requests otherwise).
The IAGs can be magnetically collected from solution using Ocean's magnetic separator.
